Fire Opal

Brilliant orangered

gems, fire opals are usually

uniform in hue or contain golden or greenish flecks. They

are most often found near active hot springs and geyser

activity. Fire opals are an essential part of producing

helms of brilliance.

A fire opal included in any wand with a spell that has

the fire descriptor increases the save DC against the

wand’s effect by +1. If no saving throw applies or is

allowed, it instead adds +1 to the effective caster level of

the effect.
